Kelp meal is made from the seaweed Ascophyllum nodosum. It is harvested from the cold, clean waters of Maine and dried at low temperatures to preserve its valuable nutrients. Add Kelp meal to your organic garden to improve soil texture, structure, aeration, and water and nutrient holding capacity. The variety of nutrients in kelp meal will also feed and stimulate beneficial microbes in your soil. A healthy microbial community increases fertility and makes essential amino acids available to plants for optimal growth!
